The DFW Beginning Experience

We are the local chapter of the Beginning Experience Ministry, a peer ministry program designed to assist in grief resolution and personal growth for those who have lost a loved one through death, divorce or separation, and who are ready to come to terms with that loss and begin to move forward with their
lives.


The vision of Beginning Experience is to help individuals work through their grief, to be healed, transformed, and free to love themselves, others, and God in new and deeper ways.  The program is
presented by a team of people, "wounded healers", who themselves are widowed, divorced or separated.  Having experienced similar personal losses, our facilitators can relate to the hurt and alienation suffered by those who have lost a partner. Team members lead participants through a series of presentations, followed by personal private reflection and small group sharing.


The Beginning Experience is an interdenominational, international ministry that was started in 1974 at the
